Mutation

A Mutation is a permanent change in DNA sequence of a gene.Mutations in a gene's DNA sequence can change the amino acids sequence of the protein encoded by the gene. The DNA sequence is interpreted in three groups these are called codons. Each codon has a single amino acid in a protein. It is like a sentence that has three letters in one word. What I mean is three-letter words, to be exact.
"The tea cup was hot!" (hehe)
When you try to read it by three-letter word you can get the meaning. But try to read it that is not three-letter word. You will not get the meaning of that.Like a codon, you can get the meaning if it is exact and it can work properly but if it seems it has an excess or lack of genes it will not be presented properly.

Mutation is also a heritable change in the genetic material.By the way, there is a sub region of this mutation. It is the point mutation and the frame-shift mutation. A point mutation is the change of the DNA base. While the frame-shift mutation is like the error reading. These is the result of the deletion or insertion of some nucleotides to the codons. This may cause an abnormality.

Before my post end, there is still one more part of mutation. And this is the mutagens.Mutagens is the agent that can cause the genetic mutation or can increase the rate of mutation.
